Mourning is a natural expression of the intense inner turmoil that one experiences when faced with the death of a loved one. It is an essential part of healing .Healing does not imply forgetting your loved one: It means you are coming to terms with the inevitable and the continued physical absence. It also helps you find new meaning in life.
Everybody talks about Letting go.Who can really fathom the intensity of pain amd suffering of losing a loved one?Who can really understand what it means to never see,hear, touch, smell or feel a precious one ever again? Who is going to answer my questions?wailed Vani, a bereaved mother.
Her unanswered questions reminded me about an article "Loving In Spite of Absence" by By R. Benyamin Cirlin from 'Center for Loss and Renewal', where he clears all misconceptions about the words "let go."
