How often have felt dissatisfied with all of your life aspects?
How often have you feel that you are getting a raw deal in life?
How often have you felt you deserve a better life?

When someone experiences this feeling of chronic dissatisfaction that everything is going wrong with his life ,it usually triggers with it hundreds of other extremely negative thoughts that invariably leads to more stress, depression and burnout over a period of time.

Depression results from giving up on everything instead of tackling the problem.

However, viewing things from a positive perspective rather than a negative one, this feeling of dissatisfaction may actually turn out to be a great learning opportunity for change. Once you become aware of your negative style of functioning, take charge of your negative thoughts and keep them in constant check. You will end up making major changes in your life that will not only give you a sense of satisfaction but will also keep you happy.

WHAT IS THE ROOT CAUSE FOR YOUR DISSATISFACTION?

Sit down and think hard.

Grab a paper and note down the root cause for all the dissatisfaction in your life. Be honest with yourself and note down all the things that are making you dissatisfied. No matter how big or small, just write them down, but don't exaggerate your own problems. When we are dissatisfied or depressed, we overly well on the negative and totally ignore the positive aspects of a situation.

Having an understanding of the root causes will certainly enable us to set realistic and achievable targets. This way we can address the different layers of dissatisfaction in a phased manner. It will also help us face it with profound understanding and insight, and thus strengthen us to live beyond it.
